Calling all job developers, job coaches, career counselors, career developers, and others supporting job seekers to enter the workforce.
In collaboration, ODEN and LinkedIn are presenting an ODEN Connection event open to the public, to learn how to use and maximize the LinkedIn Learning platform.
Through LinkedIn Learning you can access practical, actionable educational materials to support your professional development AND learn how to use this resource to assist job seekers you support to obtain the job-ready, in-demand skills they need to enter the workforce and advance in their careers.
Participants will be guided through the process of sign up for a free, 30-day trial account and how to navigate the platform to maximize the use of a large number of professional development courses, taught by industry experts.
The event is facilitated by LinkedIn's Kate Ovington, Government Specialist.
Learning outcomes:
- Understand how and why LinkedIn Learning is an excellent and accessible tool to learning new skills -for YOU and the job seekers you support.
- Understand how to maximize the power of technology – let the platform algorithm create customize learning pathways to use your time effectively.
- Understand how this tool can be utilized to enhance the training and services you already provide to job seekers – the platform provides unlimited resources to build on the soft, human skills that all job seekers need to shine on a new position or a new career!
